Street Dreams is a collective of creators rooted in photography who have invested heavily in the art of photography. Co-Founders Michael Cobarrubia, Steven Irby, Eric Veloso, have taken their love of photography and turned it into a calling for their peers, as well as an rapidly expanding publishing and multimedia brand.

In 2014, with a disruptive approach to the publishing industry, SDM launched as a quarterly print publication, with a strong focus on crowdsourcing photographic talent online and bringing their hundred-thousand strong community offline through magazine launches, gallery exhibitions, and
mixed-media art shows.

The magazine’s novel editorial approach has gotten the attention of photography editors as well as scholars. “One of the things about periodicals is that they’re very of the moment,” said Karen Gisonny, a librarian at the New York Public Library, which added Street Dreams to its periodical archives in 2015.
“Street Dreams is the epitome of that.”

To date, Street Dreams Magazine has independently produced and published 13,000 print copies across 15 editions since the project’s inception.

Street Dreams has also attracted the attention of a multitude of brands, cultural institutions and large corporations. The evolution of SDM, has seen it grow into its own creative and production studio providing full-service creative direction for clients like Nike, HBO, New Balance, Canon, Tribeca Film Festival and Sony.Street Dreams provides the following in-house creative services:
